Excellent Pinot Nero from Tuscany
Podere della Civettaja is the realization of a dream for Vincenzo Tommasi. Initially an ergonomist-consultant by profession, he was inspired by the Pinot Noir during a trip in Burgundy. The beautiful wines and the surroundings made a big impression on him and he undertook the task of growing wine in Italy. Of course from the Pinot Noir or Pinot Nero grape.
His vineyard with an area of 3 hectares is located in the Casentino Valley north of Arezzo Tuscany at an altitude of 500 meters above sea level, near the source of the Arno river. Vincenzo works with dedication and 100% organic. In 2010 he successfully launched his wine, the Pinot Nero. Soon his wine became known and the reviews were positive. The demand for this wine is currently greater than the supply. The annual production includes only 7,000 bottles and is therefor a very exclusive and rare Italian wine.
