Cerbaiona produces the best Brunello Wines according to wine insiders
Matthew Fioretti is one of the owners of the Cerbaiona estate, which is beautifully situated on the edge of a hill just east of Montalcino. His passion and dedication to produce quality wines and the special location are responsible for Brunello's of the highest quality. For example, the unprecedented high score of 100 points was awarded by wine critic Antonio Galloni to the harvest of the year 2010. Other vintages of this wine producer also received scores of 96 and 97 points.
The cult producer Cerbaiona has a relatively small vineyard where the grapes are hand-picked and whose soil is traditionally known as particularly suitable for the growth of the sangiovese grape and thus suitable for a cru vineyard.
The building has been completely renovated and a new cellar has been built that will be fully operational in 2019.
Antonio Galloni: "If I am forced to drink just one wine from Montalcino, I would almost certainly choose the sumptuous Brunello from Cerbaiona."
Exclusive Tuscan Cult Wine
The wines are not widespread but nevertheless highly appreciated by the real Brunello lover and wine insiders. Many winelovers regard the Brunello di Montalcino of Cerbaiona as the best Brunello there is.
Beautiful fruit, very elegant, lots of depth, a high quality wine with personality that clearly distinguishes itself from the others. An ideal wine for collectors to mature in a cellar. This wine can rightly be called an exclusive Tuscan wine and belongs to the top of Italy.
Besides the Brunello di Montalcino, the Rosso di Montalcino is also a very beautiful wine and highly recommendable.
